Overview
SeismaFlex™ brackets are the ideal fasteners for top-mounting heavy items (entertainment centers, hutches, armoires, etc.) directly to a wall stud. The brackets flex to absorb energy, therefore reducing stress at fastening points. Extended length brackets are ideal for TV cabinets or other items that are up to 1/2″ away from the wall.
Kit includes:
(2) 2″ x 4″ (or 2″ x 6″) HD SeismaFlex™ stainless steel brackets, (2) cover up caps, (2) 1/4″ x 2″ Tek screws, (2) 1/4″ x 2″ wood screws, (2) washers, (8) 8 x 3/4″ wood screws, and (8) 8 x 1/2″ Tek screws Kit
Installation Instructions:
- Use a stud locating device to find and mark proper fastening locations on the wall.
- With furniture in place, position the bracket flush with the top, and line up the markings with the center hole on the bracket. Secure bracket to furniture using screws provided.
- Attach the bracket to the wall stud using lag screws. Press the plug in place.
