Overview
UniBrackets are designed to anchor and secure free-standing large and tall furniture or equipment, such as refrigerators or incubators, directly to the floor. These brackets offer more stability than standard “L” brackets because of their wider shape.
Installation Instructions:
- Locate desired mounting locations on the item to be fastened. If possible, place Uni-Bracket on opposite sides or at the corners of the item.
*If fastening a painted item, simply clean with alcohol and allow to dry for five minutes. If fastening a Stainless-Steel item, first scrub the surface where plates will be installed with a Scotch-Brite™type pad. Dust with a clean cloth and wipe with supplied alcohol pads. Allow to dry for five minutes. - Move the item into the desired position and mark the location of mounting screws.
- Drill a ½” hole into the concrete using a masonry-type drill bit approximately 1½” deep. Remove bolts, washers and anchors. Slide the washer over the bolt and thread it into the anchor to start the threads. Drop the assembly through into the concrete and tighten using a wrench.
